Gaiwan Wide Metallic Black

A hand-thrown gaiwan in a striking metallic black glaze, crafted from rough dark stoneware clay. Fired twice at 900°C and 1250°C, the metallic finish emerges from the clay's natural coarse texture meeting a deep, lustrous glaze.

Each piece is made one at a time, with minor natural variations in form and surface.
