SyuRo Decorative Rectangular Tin Box (S / L)

A handcrafted rectangular tin box made at SyuRo's studio in Torigoe, Tokyo — the historic craftsmen's quarter of old Edo. Skilled artisans cut, bend, and shape each piece of tinplate by hand, tucking every seam without soldering. The surface is brushed during production for a tactile matte texture that resists fingerprints and minor scratches.

Ideal for storing tea, coffee beans, stationery, jewellery, or any small everyday objects. Over time the metal will oxidise and develop a natural antique patina — deepened further by the oils of bare hands. A lid is included. Not intended for refrigerator use.

SyuRo products are handcrafted by skilled artisans and kept free of rustproofing to preserve the material's natural beauty. Please keep them away from water, as rust can develop more easily around the seams.
