Studio Yeodong Yun — Serving Tongs (M)

A pair of handcrafted serving tongs in aluminium and copper, designed by Yun Yeo-dong. The tongs bring the same attention to form as the artist's sculptural work — the material combination of cool aluminium and warm copper creating a quiet contrast in the hand.

Studio Yeodong Yun is the metalwork practice of artist Yun Yeo-dong, based in Seoul. Her work is defined by the concept of Jung Jung Dong (靜中動) — movement within stillness — drawing inspiration from the trembling ornaments of Shilla Dynasty golden crowns to explore the pulse of life held within enduring metal form. Each piece is individually designed and handcrafted.
