Studio Yeodong Yun — Handle Plate

A handcrafted plate with a distinctive upright handle, combining aluminium body with brass and copper rivet detailing — designed by Yun Yeo-dong. The handle transforms the plate into a serving dish and sculptural object simultaneously, the warm metal tones creating a compositional dialogue across the piece.

Studio Yeodong Yun is the metalwork practice of artist Yun Yeo-dong, based in Seoul. Her work is defined by the concept of Jung Jung Dong (靜中動) — movement within stillness — drawing inspiration from the trembling ornaments of Shilla Dynasty golden crowns to explore the pulse of life held within enduring metal form. Each piece is individually designed and handcrafted.
