Yeodong Yun - Ganymed Wine Bucket (M)

A handcrafted wine bucket combining aluminium and brass, designed by Yeodong Yun. The Ganymed series takes its name from the cupbearer of the gods — a vessel conceived for both function and presence. The combination of matte aluminium and warm brass detailing gives the bucket a distinctive formal character at the table.

Yeodong Yun is the metalwork practice of artist Yeodong Yun, based in Seoul. Her work is defined by the concept of Jung Jung Dong (靜中動) — movement within stillness — drawing inspiration from the trembling ornaments of Shilla Dynasty golden crowns to explore the pulse of life held within enduring metal form. Each piece is individually designed and handcrafted.
