Saeam Kwon Teapot Kyushu 200ml

This refined, hand-thrown Kyushu teapot is crafted by Berlin-based Korean ceramic artist Saeam Kwon. Combining minimalist design with traditional East Asian tea vessel proportions, each piece is individually thrown on the potter's wheel using a rough, dark stoneware clay.

Designed with a side handle for a graceful and precise pour, the teapot features a striking contrast between its raw, expressive exterior and a smooth, wide grey glaze applied strictly to the interior for optimal functionality. Fired twice up to 1200°C–1250°C in an electric kiln, the dark clay vitrifies completely, ensuring a dense, food-safe, and highly tactile surface that highlights the unique, organic character of hand-built ceramics.
